My Mission

I am a working mom. Then again, aren't we all? Let me be more specific: I work outside the home, full-time, but have all the same desires for building a family, creating a home and nurturing myself that all stay-at-home moms do. However, because my time for this is limited to a few hours a day on weekdays and two days on the weekends, I always feel like I'm time-crunched. I want to build memories and share stories; I want a home that is warm and filled with homemade and personal touches; I want to manage my family's finances so that we live comfortably, but responsibly; I want to serve my family recipes that are homecooked and nutritious, traditional and adventurous; I want to be greener; I want to nuture myself so that I can give more to my family and my job. This blog chronicles my quest to do that on a time-budget.
